Stone & Silk Grooming Co.: A New Artisan the Group's Watching

There’s a new name floating through the group: Stone & Silk Grooming Co. Jerry gave it the full introduction, the kind that names actual scents instead of just saying “check this out.” The guy behind it is Tod, and he’s two scents deep so far: Coconut & Bamboo and Winter Sovereign.
Jerry’s take on Coconut & Bamboo was blunt: he liked it. Fresh, smooth, the kind of scent that makes you go back for a second sniff. That’s one guy’s nose, not a lab result, but it’s the reaction that gets a brand-new artisan noticed in a group like this one. Jerry also called out the packaging and label work specifically, the kind of detail a lot of first-year artisans skip past.
Winter Sovereign is the other half of the lineup, a bolder, winter-leaning presentation. It moved fast enough that Jack went looking for a tub and came up empty. Tod jumped into his own thread to answer him directly:
Jack said thanks for that and that he’s looking forward to giving the brand a try. Brett said his order was already in and he’s looking forward to the test drive. Harry and Earl both dropped in with quick thanks for the heads up, and Delwin said he’s willing to take a swing on a couple of the scents himself.
What One Member Already Tried
Most of the thread is first impressions and good wishes. Phil’s comment isn’t. He’d already ordered the Coconut & Bamboo shave oil and soap, used them, and came back with an actual report:

That’s the kind of detail that matters more than a launch post ever can. Not “looks good,” but tub shape, and a sample that showed up before the product it belonged to had even released. Soap packaging is one of the things new artisans get wrong constantly: a deep, narrow tub fights a wet brush no matter how good what’s inside smells. Phil liked the scent enough to flag it instead of just shrugging it off. Ronald called it a great review. Fair.
That’s also Tod answering Jack by name in his own comments, not a support inbox getting to it eventually. Whether that holds up once the lineup grows past two scents and an aftershave splash is the real test for any one-brand artisan. For now it’s a decent sign.
Tod’s also said he wants to get custom fragrance options going at some point, no date attached to that yet, and a giveaway is in the works too. Nothing to sign up for yet beyond keeping an eye on the group.
If you want a closer look at the lineup, Stone & Silk Grooming Co. has a site up at stoneandsilkgrooming.com, and the brand’s posting under @stoneandsilkgrooming on Instagram. And if that free aftershave splash sample has you thinking about where it’d fit in a routine, our classic aftershave buyer’s guide walks the families worth knowing before you add another bottle to the shelf.
Smooth shaves out there.
