Rockwell SETPOINT: The 'Jiggly' End Cap Isn't a Problem
Good evening, everybody. I want to give a quick follow-up on the SETPOINT and this whole “wiggly end cap” thing. I’ve got the stainless here and the aluminum here, side by side.

In Ohio Shaves’ video, he holds the stainless like this and goes, “Can you hear the rattle?” Then he picks up the aluminum and does the same thing. No rattle. Well, of course not. The stainless weighs 114 grams. That’s a lot of weight swinging around in there. The aluminum weighs next to nothing by comparison. Different mass, different sound. That’s not a defect story. That’s just physics.

Watch my forearm when I move it. I have to put real effort into it to get that end cap to budge at all. It’s not going anywhere on its own. You have to push it. It’s not loose. It’s not wiggly. It’s not jiggly. It doesn’t move unless you make it move. And I swear to God, if all this talk hadn’t started, you’d probably never have noticed it in the first place.
I’m not trying to talk anybody into buying one here. I just don’t want the wrong impression sitting out there about this razor, because it’s not earned. It’s not loose. It doesn’t wiggle. It doesn’t jiggle. It’s not sloppy. It’s firm. Push on it hard enough, and yeah, it moves a little. Just handle it normally, and it stays put.

I think this whole thing has gotten blown way out of proportion. It’s a good razor. A very, very good razor. If you’ve been on the fence about picking one up, don’t let the end cap talk be the reason you pass. Get your hands on one, and I think you’ll go, “Oh, okay, I get it now.”
Thank you guys for watching, and we’ll see you soon enough. Y’all stay smooth.
