DentonMajik CryoMajik: Extreme Menthol Shaving Soap Preview
DentonMajik has something in the pipeline. Mark dropped a preview of CryoMajik in the group, and if you run on the menthol-heavy end of wet shaving, the name is worth knowing.
His opening line: “hands down one of the coldest shaving products I’ve ever used.” He draws the comparison to Proraso Green straight away and calls CryoMajik its “extreme, modernized cousin.” If you’ve used Proraso Green, you know that neighborhood. The notes list tracks with the comparison.

Mark describes the scent opening with a sharp burst of eucalyptus, lemon, and cooling menthol. The heart brings in lavender and aromatic herbs, then a creamy shaving soap accord in the base. That base accord, he says, keeps it from going too medicinal and gives the whole thing some depth. On paper: clean, barbershop-adjacent, cold.
On performance, he says the cooling builds through the shave instead of fading after the first pass. By rinse-off he describes the sensation as “arctic air on your face.” The matching aftershave in the line reportedly pushes the freeze further. Lather he calls dense and slick, with solid cushion and good post-shave feel.
These are one person’s pre-launch observations, not a settled review. Take the specific performance claims accordingly. The Proraso Green comparison is the most useful piece. If you have that reference in your head and someone tells you this is that, amplified, that’s meaningful signal regardless of whether every superlative holds up.
No retailer or price is posted. Follow DentonMajik’s page for the release.
If Proraso Green already hits harder than you want, this isn’t the one. If you’re the kind of shaver who adds an ice pack to the bathroom sink in July and still calls it a mild morning, put CryoMajik on the watchlist.
