OliWorks Asteroid Ti Brush: Full Titanium Setup
Hello, I’m Sig Solo. Welcome to my channel and welcome to today’s shave. I’ve still got the cold. This is actually the second one, and it feels harder than the first. Makes sense. My resistance was already low going in. I might cough during this, have to stop and blow my nose. You know how it is. But the show must go on, because I got this fantastic brush in from OliWorks and I needed to shoot it.
The OliWorks Asteroid Ti Brush
This is the OliWorks Asteroid in titanium. Short handle. Look at it. They make a long handle version too, and that one has 10 lines on it. This short titanium handle has seven. The long handle is aluminum and comes in at 153 grams. This titanium short handle is 183 grams. Quite a bit heavier.

I didn’t pay for this brush. Jorge and the OliWorks family were kind enough to send it to me, and I want to say thank you. The aluminum Asteroid I got earlier this year was also their gift. Double thank-you to OliWorks.
The M3[Ti]orite Razor
The razor today is the titanium M3[Ti]orite. I purchased that one with a nice discount back in 2025. I have it in stainless steel. I love it. I have the aluminum one too. Love that. And now this titanium one.

I’m running the second plate today, the medium plate. Gap is 0.762mm, with a positive exposure of 1372. The assembled razor weighs just over 62 grams. Pete over at Hendrix Classics gave me the ball end a couple of years back now. With the brush alongside, the full OliWorks titanium family is together in one setup. That’s a good feeling.
The OliWorks Blades
OliWorks also sent me a sleeve of blades. Twenty tucks of five, so a hundred blades total. These open differently from most I have. The box opens from the side with a lid, not the usual top-flap style. Each blade comes double-wrapped, which I like. Nice thick paper card inside with an old-style design that matches the sleeve. Great presentation.

I don’t know yet who manufactures them or where the steel comes from. I wrote OliWorks asking, because I forgot to check when the package arrived. Could be Tatra, could be something else. Once I hear back, I’ll post the answer in the comments. Check below.

Master Soap Creations Night On The Town
I almost forgot to tell you the soap. Night On The Town from Master Soap Creations. It’s a dupe of Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male, one of my absolute favorite colognes and scents in all. Period.
I bought this soap in October of 2021. Getting close to five years in the den now. Scent strength is still a solid seven out of ten. Still easy to load. The puck has gotten a little harder, but barely. Really, really great.
Fernando over at MSC has been supporting my channel for close to five years. When I ordered 20 soaps from South Africa, he gifted me the matching splashes. So thank you, Fernando. The splash itself is witch hazel and rosewater. Clear in the bottle, shake it and it goes milky white. Great scent, and everything you need in one product. No need to make three stops. This handles it.
The Shave
This razor was my favorite of 2025. No question. And today I get to run it with one of my favorite bowls and one of my favorite brushes. That’s what you need when a cold has had you down for three weeks straight.

One cold handed off to the next, and the second one hit harder because my resistance was already low. Haven’t been to work these last few days. Pretty miserable. Our national day got wrecked by heavy rain and wind. I wasn’t outside anyway, being sick. But we look forward to that day all year. This one hurt.

And to everyone who sent congratulations when my daughter turned 18 on Thursday, she read every single message. She asked me to thank you. So thank you. That meant a lot to both of us.
Why make a video when you feel this bad? Because this was the high point of the last three days. Something to look forward to. Something to get your spirits up.
The shave was perfecto.
