Shave Dad x Razor Emporium: Back to Glory Is Coming

Jerry just announced it in the group: Shave Dad is partnering with Razor Emporium on a new collab called Back to Glory.

The concept draws from the golden era of wet shaving - the weight of a steel razor in your hand, a deliberate shave instead of a rushed one, tools built to outlast their owners. The specific inspiration is the Gillette Red Tip, a safety razor Jerry called “legendary” in the announcement. Razor Emporium has built its name around preserving and restoring vintage hardware like this, and the Back to Glory label was designed around a real Red Tip from the collection, capturing what Jerry described as “the classic look and feel that helped define an era of wet shaving.”

Four scent notes, per the announcement:

Bergamot, Lavender, Cedarwood, Amber

Jerry calls the direction “clean, masculine, warm, and refined.” Bergamot and lavender up top reads fresh without going sweet. Cedarwood in the middle should keep it grounded. Amber in the base should add warmth. On paper this has the structure of a classic masculine fragrance - could lean fougere if the lavender holds, or stay more citrus-forward if the bergamot leads.
