Triple Dog Dare: Adopted Acres Enters the Blizzard Battles

Adopted Acres showed up to the Blizzard Battles with a soap called Triple Dog Dare. If you grew up watching A Christmas Story, you know the escalation: single dare, double dare, and then the one you can’t walk away from. That’s the name, and the group understood it immediately.

The label did a lot of the work. Farm animals laughing in the background, scent notes apparently laid out across the design like a formal declaration. Comments lit up fast, and most of them were about the art. Multiple people said the label wins regardless of where the soap places in the competition.

Then Doug, the maker, weighed in on where the scent sits relative to the other Blizzard Battles entries. Asked whether Triple Dog Dare might run colder than Choco:

The splash is where he says he pushed furthest. He didn’t spell out the notes in the thread, just told people to go look at them. Some members are already sold. Others had a different reaction.

In the context of a cold-soap competition, that’s not a complaint.
