Caveem Square Body Scrubber: Same Rough Sponge, New Shape
Good evening, everybody. Tonight we’re looking at the Caveem square body scrubber.
Except it’s not square. That’s a rectangle. Caveem, come on now. I don’t usually correct companies, but that’s a rectangle. I’ve got both of these in front of me right here, this one and the round exfoliating sponge I reviewed a couple weeks back. Same sponge, different shape. Twins.
I’ve had two of these in for review for about two weeks now, and I haven’t used either one yet. Here’s why: I already put the round Caveem sponge through its paces, and it worked well. The square one, fine, rectangle one, is the same material and the same formula, just cut into a different shape, so I’m not expecting anything different out of it. Strap it around your hand and go to town. That’s the whole trick with these.
What Caveem says about it
So let’s pull up Caveem’s site and see what they actually say about this one, then we’ll get to pricing.
It’s the Rough Dark Gray Square Sponge for Shower, sold as a two pack. Full rough texture on both sides, no soft side at all, so this isn’t one of those dual-texture deals. No-slip, firm grip. The square, fine, rectangle, shape and the compact size are supposed to fit securely in your hand. Deep clean with every use, and Caveem’s own guidance is two to three times a month, not a daily scrubber.
Slough away the dead skin. Slough, sluff, slew, however you want to say it, pick whichever one you like. The idea is the same either way: it knocks the dead skin off and leaves you smoother underneath.
It’s also reusable and washable, and it ships compressed and sealed for hygiene. Drop it in warm water and it expands out into a solid block you can actually use.
Based on how the round one performed for me, I’d trust that claim. It’s rough. You don’t want this on your face, and you don’t want it on your body every day either. Two or three times a month is the right cadence.

On Caveem’s site, this thing sits at a real discount off the list price. Go through their Amazon store instead and it drops a few bucks further. Same product, same two pack, cheaper through Amazon. Check both links before you buy instead of assuming the site price is the better one.
And just like the round version, the square one, I mean rectangle one, runs the same price as its twin. So if you’re picking between the two shapes, that decision comes down to which one feels better in your hand, not your wallet.
